Each September, the Grand Rapids Bar Association partners with the Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) to provide special lessons on the U.S. Constitution to 5th graders. The program's goal is to match each of the district's 5th grade classrooms with an attorney who will focus on one area of the Constitution.

With just one hour, you can make a huge impact. Help students gain an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the Constitution and their government!

Deadline to sign up is September 2, 2019. Resource Packets and pocket-sized Constitutions will be provided to all volunteers. Please stop by the GRBA office to pick up your materials. If you have a school preference, please email your preference to Once all volunteers are secure, you will be notified of your school.
