Motions can mean the end of litigation, or they can alter the contours and course of litigation. Come hear a panel of Kent County Circuit Court civil and family law judges give their perspective on motions that test, in whole or in part, any perceived deficiencies in substantive legal claims and defenses. Judge Rossi and Judge Quist will give their thoughts on civil case dispositive motion practice. Judges Ackert and Gardner will give their thoughts on temporary order motions and other family law motion best practices. This event is geared toward attorneys in their first 5 years of practice, but all lawyers are welcome to attend.
