GRBA Elections Go On-line

In 2011, the GRBA introduced an online voting system, VoteNet and e-ballot, for our Officer & Trustee elections. This system provides our members with secure voting while helping the GRBA save time and money – not to mention a few trees!

How it Works

Shortly before voting begins, members will receive an email with a unique username a password specific to the online voting system and instructions on how to proceed. Once logging in with the election site, you will be provided with an electronic ballot and complete instructions for voting. All the information normally included in our paper ballots, including candidate biographies, will also be available. Members will be able to fully review their ballots before submitting final votes and have the option of printing a record of their votes. For an overview of the voter experience, click here.

Help us Make this a Smooth Process

Do you regularly receive emails from the Grand Rapids Bar Association? For example, the GRBA E-Brief or event announcements? If not, please make sure we have your correct e-mail address. Contact Debbie Kurtz at debbie@grbar.org to update your records.  You may also wish to check with your IT department to be sure our e-mails are not being directed to your "spam" folder.

Not computer savvy? Don’t have an e-mail address? Just let us know and we’ll make arrangements for you to receive a paper ballot!
