GRBA Admission Ceremonies
The Grand Rapids Bar Association hosts two Admission Ceremonies per year, one in May (for those who pass the February Bar Exam) and another in November (for those who pass the July Bar Exam). The exact dates of the ceremonies are not set until the results come in.
After Bar Exam results are available, the Grand Rapids Bar Association will send a letter to all the admittees who submitted a mailing address in Kent County to the Board of Examiners. If you did not submit a mailing address in Kent County to the Board of Examiners but you would like to participate in the Grand Rapids Bar Association's ceremony, please call (616) 454-5550 to express your interest in participating and to give us your name, address, and phone number.

***FYI*** Once your swearing-in has been completed, it does take 5-10 days to process the paperwork. Please note, you will not be able to receive your P number or practice until after the Michigan State Bar has received your Order of Admission from the County Clerk’s office.
