EVENTS:
May 28, 2008:Spring Admissions Ceremony
3:30 p.m. at the Kent County Courthouse in Grand Rapids, MI. If you just
passed the Bar Exam and you gave the Board of Examiners an address in Kent
County, you will receive an invitation letter to attend this ceremony. If you
did not give the Board of Examiners an address in Kent County, but would like to
attend this ceremony, please call (616)454-5550 to leave your name, phone
number, and address. The letter, with details such as costs, forms, directions,
etc., will be mailed out early the week of May 12, 2008. The Admissions Ceremony
will include a swearing-in to the State of Michigan Courts and the U.S. District
Court for the Western District of Michigan.

29th: Alternative Dispute Resolution. "Stats, Trends, and Rules: A
Statewide ADR Report," presented by Doug Van Epps, Director, Office of Dispute
Resolution, Michigan Supreme Court. Noon, Peninsular Club.
