GRBA Community Service Program
Helping Lawyers Help Others
One of the great traditions of the legal profession is helping others in the community. In keeping with this tradition, the GRBA has established a community service initiative intended to aid members in identifying volunteer/community service opportunities in Kent County with ease. This initiative seeks to build on community service by encouraging more lawyers to participate in volunteer activities. The overarching goal of this initiative is to identify and facilitate involvement in existing legal and non-legal community service opportunities so lawyers can more readily find meaningful ways to help those in need.
Your participation in this initiative is a chance for you to get involved and give back to your community and those in need, a chance to promote equal access to justice and gain a sense of personal fulfillment. It's the right thing to do, and your involvement will encourage other bar members to do the same.
